Close Security Gaps Efficiently
It is not always technically or economically feasible to network all components of an access control system. Existing security gaps can often be closed by the application of state-of-the-art offline systems that combine mechanical locking systems with electronic means of identification, e.g. contactless credentials. In cooperation with Normbau, our sister company, we have managed to improve the security, effectiveness and efficiency of standalone systems for access control. Our offline devices can quickly and easily replace standard locks, while products of the Pegasys series from Interflex are also used for securing rolling gates, garage and sliding doors as well as elevators. Both solutions provide investment protection in the name of security: Existing credentials for access control can still be used.
Pegasys Locking Systems
The Pegasys series consists of offline locking systems for doors and openings with already existing smart cards (Proxif, LEGIC, Mifare). An electronic key on the smart card allows for flexible control and installation, as access rights and settings can be "carried" to and checked by intelligent fittings. A unique encrypted profile is stored on the user segment of a smart card by an online terminal. Pegasys is available as a reading unit that is integrated into door escutcheons and handles from Normbau. The door terminal can recognize up to 10.000 defined smart cards and complies with standard dimensions for easy installation into existing doors. Terminals without handles have been especially designed for roller shutters, garage doors, sliding doors and elevators.
